Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Good Ramble (goodramble.com). By using the app you agree to them. Questions go to support@goodramble.com.

Using the service

Good Ramble works in two modes. In BYOK mode you supply your own Deepgram and OpenAI API keys and use the app without an account. In Hosted mode you sign in and we relay your requests to those providers through our own proxies using our keys. Either way, you're responsible for the content you record, upload or generate, and for using it lawfully.

Your API keys and provider accounts

If you use BYOK mode, you're responsible for your own Deepgram and OpenAI accounts, keys and usage costs, and for complying with those providers' own terms of service. We don't see or store keys you enter in BYOK mode.

Acceptable use

Don't use Good Ramble to record or process content you don't have the right to capture, to violate anyone's privacy, or for anything illegal. Don't attempt to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Paid plans and billing

Hosted mode plans are one-off purchases billed through Stripe and managed via Autumn. All charges are handled by Stripe directly — we don't store your payment details.

AI output

Good Ramble uses AI models (via Deepgram and OpenAI) to transcribe and respond to what you say. That output can be inaccurate or incomplete, and isn't professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Use your own judgment before relying on it.

Shared links

If you share a chat, the resulting link is public — anyone who has it can view that chat until it expires (30 days) or you unshare it. Don't share content you wouldn't want publicly accessible.

No warranty, limitation of liability

Good Ramble is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using Good Ramble at any time and delete your local data from the app or by clearing your browser data. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
